High Coast Kayak is a family business established in 2006, since then developed in size, format and location.

From the summer 2023 we restart from a new location, carefully chosen after years of searching – where the Ångermanälven River meets the Sea, and thus the High Coast, a short bit up from the High Coast bridge, on the western shore. It gives us good access to both the River and the High Coast.
Start or finsih for the tours is now often at our pier by our little fine bay, Ramöviken – already half way out in the wilderness!
Getting here
Our little green haven is located a short bit out into the wilderness, but is easy to reach, both by land and sea route
By train
Direct trains from Stockholm to Harnosand. Several also continue to Kramfors. If you come from North, e g from Umea or Ornskoldsvik (or Kiruna or Narvik). And during summer the trains are often on time. Book with SJ, or more locally with Norrtåg. Get off in Harnosand (from there a 30 min ride by bus or car), or Kramfors (15 min ride). We pick you up in our 7-seated eco-hybrid. The pick up (and later return) is free of charge for those travelling to us by train.
By bus
Bus can sometimes be a cheaper alternative. Book with Ybuss here!
Bus and train stop at Harnosand station/Travel centre, walking distance to city centre (food store). We pick you up as agreed, fee 200 SEK.
By plane
Flights land at Sundsvall-Timra Airport (Midlanda), cirka 30 km/30 minutes south of Harnosand, one hour flight from Stockholm Arlanda, sometimes from Gothenburg, can be booked at SAS. – An alternative, a bit closer but to the north, is the Höga Kusten Airport (Kramfors airport), often only one flight per day, but you may get to see the High Coast bridge from the air från luften and part of the River. – We pick you up as agreed for a fee of 200 SEK for H C Airport, or 300 from Midlanda.
By car
Med bil söderifrån så är kan man slå in ”Ramö 124, Lunde” på gps om man har, annars är det E 4 upp till och förbi Härnösand, och strax före Höga Kusten-bron svänger man av till Riksväg 90, riktning Kramfors-Sollefteå, och kör c:a 10 min nordväst ut på den. Strax efter Gustavsviks varv på höger sida svänger man av till höger mot ett litet röd-vitt hus nära vägen. Bilen kan ni sedan parkera hos oss medan ni är ute.
Kajakbryggan ligger sedan ett par hundra meter ned mot älven, vid vårt sommarhus, vi visar vägen.
